Sweet Dreams Ltd. was established in 2003, in light of Hungary's upcoming membership in the European Union.

The founders' intention was twofold, when creating their enterprise. On the one hand, to intertwine the traditions of Hungarian Anaesthesia and Intensive Care with the achievements of anaesthesia and intensive care in the European Union. On the other hand, to acquaint the society with the place and significance of anaesthesia and intensive care in modern medical science, and to enhance the populations' orientation and knowledge in this field of medicine; thus, hopefully contributing to the development of a more health-conscious way of thinking and living.
